As I read, I found myself thinking of so many questions (maybe because I’m just a little nosey, lol). The vibrant contrasts on each page kept me engaged, and if there’s ever a sequel, I’d love to see how Ivie’s journey continues in America—how she adjusted to a new culture while holding onto her roots.

When I opened the package and saw the book, the cover was absolutely breathtaking. I originally planned to donate it, but after seeing the stunning illustrations, I decided to keep it for myself. This book is a 10/10 or even 100/100—to God be the glory!
