The cover of Ivie’s Journey Home is so inviting! I love how it contrasts the Lagos village with the city, creating a perfect balance between the two worlds. The way the word Home incorporates the flags and colors is such a thoughtful touch—it truly captures the journey and duality of the story.
As I read, I found myself thinking of so many questions (maybe because I’m just a little nosey, lol). The vibrant contrasts on each page kept me engaged, and if there’s ever a sequel, I’d love to see how Ivie’s journey continues in America—how she adjusted to a new culture while holding onto her roots.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!
